This policy explains how bloommena.com collects and uses information when you visit it.

It covers this website only. It does not apply to the Bloom nursery-management app used by nurseries, parents, and staff, which collects a different kind of information (such as attendance, billing, and messaging records) under its own, separate privacy policy.

Who we are

Bloom ("Bloom," "we," "us," or "our") operates this website to tell nurseries in Egypt about the Bloom nursery-management app. For the purposes of Egypt's Personal Data Protection Law (Law No. 151 of 2020, the "PDPL"), Bloom is the data controller for the limited information this website processes.

Information we collect

This website is deliberately simple: it has no sign-up, no account, and no contact form. The "Contact us" and "Call us" buttons only open your phone's own dialer app — they don't send us anything.

The only personal information this website processes is what Google Analytics collects, and only after you give consent through the cookie banner shown on your first visit. Before you make a choice, no analytics cookie is set and nothing is sent to Google. If you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics may collect:

Your approximate location, derived from your IP address at city level — we don't receive your exact IP address
The type of device, browser, and operating system you're using
Which pages you viewed, how you arrived at the site, and how long you spent on it
General interactions, such as clicking a download-app button or switching language

We also set one small "necessary" cookie of our own (bloom_cookie_consent) that stores only the choice you made in the banner — nothing else. It isn't used to track you and doesn't leave your device.

Cookies we use

This site uses three categories of cookies:

Necessary — bloom_cookie_consent, set the moment you make a choice in the banner. Stores only your consent choice, for up to 180 days. Always active, since it's what lets your choice be remembered.
Analytics — Google Analytics 4 cookies, set by Google, only if you accept the "Analytics" category. Used to understand site traffic and improve the page.
Advertising — reserved for a possible future use, such as measuring ad campaigns. Not currently active: no advertising cookies are set today, even if you accept this category.

You can change or withdraw your choice at any time from the "Cookie settings" link in the footer of every page.

Our legal basis for processing

Under the PDPL, we rely on:

Your consent, for any Analytics or Advertising cookies — you can withdraw this at any time, and withdrawing it is exactly as easy as giving it.
Our legitimate interest in remembering your cookie choice itself, so we don't have to ask again on every visit — the necessary cookie stores only that choice and nothing more.

How we use this information

We use analytics information only to understand how visitors use the site — which sections get attention, whether people find the download or contact buttons, and where the page could be improved. We do not use it to identify you personally, build an advertising profile, or make automated decisions about you. We do not sell your information to anyone.

Who we share information with

Analytics data, only once you've consented, is processed by Google on Bloom's behalf through Google Analytics 4. Google acts as our data processor for this purpose. We don't share information with any other third party, and never for another company's marketing.

This website is hosted on Cloudflare's infrastructure, which processes standard technical server logs (such as IP address and request details) to deliver the site to you and keep it secure. This is a normal part of running any website and happens regardless of your cookie choice.

International data transfers

Google Analytics is provided by Google LLC, based in the United States, so analytics data — once you've consented — may be processed on servers outside Egypt. Google offers contractual safeguards for this kind of transfer (Google's Data Processing Terms, incorporating Standard Contractual Clauses), in line with the PDPL's requirements for sending personal data abroad.

How long we keep it

The necessary consent cookie is kept for up to 180 days, or until you change your choice, whichever comes first — after that, we ask again.

Analytics data is retained by Google according to the retention period configured on our Google Analytics account, after which it's automatically deleted. If you withdraw analytics consent, no new analytics data is collected about your future visits.

Your rights under Egypt's data protection law

The PDPL gives you a set of rights over your personal data, including the right to:

Be informed about how your data is processed (this policy)
Access the data we hold about you
Request correction of inaccurate data
Request deletion of your data
Object to, or restrict, certain processing
Withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting anything already done before the withdrawal
Lodge a complaint with Egypt's Data Protection Center if you believe your rights have been violated

How to exercise your rights

The fastest way to control what this website collects about you is the "Cookie settings" link in the footer — it lets you reject or withdraw analytics consent immediately, which stops any new data collection right away.

Children's privacy

This website is intended for adults — nursery owners, managers, and staff evaluating Bloom — and isn't directed at children. Security

This website is served entirely over HTTPS. Because it has no accounts, forms, or payment details, there's no database of personal information stored by this website for anyone to access. The only personal information involved is the analytics data described above — handled under Google's own security standards — and the single consent cookie stored on your own device.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the website or the law changes. Meaningful changes will update the "last updated" date above and, where they affect how cookies are used, will prompt the consent banner to appear again so you can make a fresh choice.
